Alex Glover

Alex has 25 years experience in the marketing and communications industry, focusing now on working with quoted companies on raising their profile in the national
and business media in the UK and Europe.

Alex was a founding partner of The Financial Word, a consultancy specialising in public and investor relations for companies in the financial and technology sectors. Clients of the consultancy spanned the asset management industry, the venture capital sector and a range of high tech businesses including Internet companies. The Financial Word was merged with WMC Communications in the summer of 2000.

Prior to establishing his own business, Alex was a director
of Valin Pollen Ltd during the 1980’s and worked on a wide range of accounts spanning all sectors. He counselled some of the UK’s largest companies during that time from Reuters and Glaxo through to Standard Chartered Bank and Robert Fleming as well as a range of international clients including NASDAQ.
