Jane McClory

After studying law and economics in the U.K. Jane McClory emigrated to Canada. She took a position in sales and marketing with NCR and later joined Brink Hudson and Lefevre as a stockbroker in Vancouver. Here she specialized in the junior resource sector. She worked with companies to assist with IPOs and traded for institutions in North America and Europe. She also had an extensive retail client base.

In the late eighties Jane moved to Toronto to set up her own investor relations company, establishing a niche market handling small cap resource companies, based in Canada and the United States.

She established close working relationships with senior fund managers, brokers and analysts, ensuring that her clients had access to the individuals who could best fulfill their goals and increase shareholder value. She also organized and led site visits for interested groups and represented her clients at sector-related conferences, where appropriate. She was also active with the Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.

In 2003 Jane returned to live in the U.K. and has been participating in the resources market. She has maintained and broadened her contacts in the resources sector on both sides of the Atlantic.
